Me in Rainbows was a body of work inspired by a city I fell in love with ten years ago. Wellington felt like a city that breathes, and to inspire is to breathe in. Wellington was my final destination after a few years of travel. The body of works responded to Wellington itself; the foliage, my response to the past places I had travelled, the heritage mansion I lived in that once housed the largest nautical art collection in the Southern Hemisphere and to my changing self in space. Me in Rainbows played with the familiar and my surroundings with a slight dash of the whimsical.
