Skin In The Game

Skin in the Game explores my relationship with self, skin and society. As a woman of Persian South African descent, and a first generation Australian, this work investigates pluralistic identity, cultural contradictions, inherited culture, ripple effects of colonialism and the experience of the in-between body that comes from living in contemporary Australia.
